Chainlink brengt bedrijfsdata naar de blockchain met AI en oracles
Chainlink heeft opnieuw een belangrijke stap gezet door bedrijfsdata met behulp van kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) en oracles naar de blockchain te brengen. Samen met grote financiële spelers zoals Franklin Templeton en UBS werkt Chainlink aan een oplossing voor één van de grootste uitdagingen in de financiële wereld: toegang tot accurate en realtime bedrijfsgegevens.
Met dit nieuwe project, aangekondigd op 21 oktober, wil Chainlink bedrijfsacties zoals fusies, dividenduitkeringen en aandelensplitsingen eenvoudiger en sneller beschikbaar maken. Dit soort informatie is vaak versnipperd en moeilijk te verwerken omdat het in formats als PDF’s of persberichten verschijnt, wat handmatige verwerking en gegevensopschoning vereist.
Chainlink laat weten dat het gebruik van oracles in combinatie met AI de oplossing biedt.
“We kunnen ongestructureerde data die normaal gesproken moeilijk toegankelijk is, automatisch omzetten naar digitale informatie die vrijwel direct beschikbaar is,” aldus Chainlink.
Efficiëntie en kostenbesparing Het ontbreken van een gestandaardiseerde en realtime toegang tot bedrijfsdata kost de financiële sector jaarlijks miljoenen. Volgens Chainlink ligt dit bedrag tussen de 3 en 5 miljoen dollar. Door AI en oracles in te zetten, kan dit probleem worden aangepakt, wat zorgt voor lagere kosten en efficiëntere processen.
Chainlink werkte in dit pilotproject samen met financiële grootmachten zoals Franklin Templeton, Swift, UBS en blockchainnetwerken als Avalanche en ZKsync. Deze samenwerking laat zien hoe blockchaintechnologie steeds meer terrein wint in de financiële sector.
Mark Garabedian, directeur digitale activa bij Wellington Management, zegt hierover: “Door AI en oracles te combineren, kunnen we handmatige processen drastisch verminderen en de efficiëntie verhogen.”
Blockchain en institutionele markten Chainlink blijft actief zoeken naar manieren om met behulp van oracles de institutionele markten te verbeteren. Een recente samenwerking met Taurus, een digitale infrastructuurprovider, richt zich op het tokeniseren van institutionele activa, waarbij veiligheid en transparantie centraal staan.
Daarnaast is 21.co, het moederbedrijf van 21Shares, gestart met de integratie van Chainlink’s proof-of-reserve technologie om meer vertrouwen te wekken in hun Bitcoin-producten.
Chainlink bewijst zich steeds meer als een sleutelfiguur in de integratie van blockchain binnen de traditionele financiële wereld, met toepassingen die niet alleen innovatief zijn, maar ook praktische voordelen bieden.
